Gold Rush: 2012 Emmy Nominations

Depending on whether or not I’m currently watching anything on TV, I sometimes do and sometimes don’t care about the Emmys.

But this year I do!

There are still a good number of shows I need to catch, such as Girls, American Horror Story, Louie, and Homeland (plus others I care less about and probably won’t ever watch). I watched enough Game Of Thrones to know I probably don’t need to watch any more Game Of Thrones (four episodes) and couldn’t really get into the first episode of Downton Abbey, either.

However, now that I’m current on Breaking Bad, I have a horse in this race. A horse that stands a very good chance of winning, especially in Best Actor and Supporting Actor categories (Walt and Gus, natch — plus a Guest Actor nominee for Tio), as well as series — if Game Of Thrones doesn’t kick Walter White off his rightful throne.

I’ve also finally watched Mad Men (though unfortunately, not Season Five yet), so I’m plenty happy to see that here, too.
